Ilhan Omar may be an elected Representative of Minnesota, but she has also made it clear that she is not in support of the America that she is currently employed by.
Many of Omar’s tweets have shown that she takes a non-American approach to all that is going on.
As a member of the Democratic party, she may be showing what they’re up to – a civil war.
Omar has identified Angela Davis as one of her idols. This should send flashing red flares up as a concern. Davis as a communist, an anti-Semite, and a member of the Black Panther Party. We should be asking a lot more questions about Omar for this alone.
However, as recently as Tuesday, Omar has stated that she believes that a profit-based system in the United States doesn’t work. She doesn’t want to stop at the criminal justice system. She believes that we must “begin the work of dismantling the whole system of oppression, wherever we find it.”
Who is this “we” that she speaks of? She’s clearly not being oppressed. She is a Somali-American who was able to be elected into office within our government. Her base salary is $174,000 – nearly four times more than what the average American earns.
Who decides who is being oppressed and what systems need to be dismantled? She’s talking about ripping apart every aspect that the United States was built on. And, if she’s speaking for the other Democrats within her party, too, she has essentially identified that there will be a civil war.
The country’s first civil war was based on the morality of slavery and the political control of that system.
If the country is to have another civil war, there are no morality issues to fight about as every class of person has the ability to move up in today’s government – and Omar is a shining example of that.
So, if there’s going to be another civil war, it will be about political control – democracy versus socialism.
How is socialism the answer? It gives all the control to the government. They call the shots. They determine what every citizen gets.
Omar hates the United States and how it is controlling, yet she wants socialism without realizing that it is an even more controlling society.
Rather than using her position to fix the system we have, she has infiltrated our government as a way to tear it apart from the inside out – and she’s rallying the other Dems to get onto her way of thinking.
Over the years, plenty of countries have adopted socialism. The United Kingdom, India, and Israel all gave it a try following World War II. Socialism failed in every country that tried it. Why? Socialism gives the promise that it can be a better system than how people can make decisions for themselves.
If Omar really wants to end oppression, she needs to look around. She needs to understand what oppression is: cruel or unjust treatment or control. What group is she speaking in regard to? Certainly not Somali-Americans as her position is proof of that. Certainly not Black Americans as Barack Obama is proof of that.
We live in a democracy. We hold the power by voting. We are the home of the free and the land of the brave. We offer scholarships for those of any color and any religious background to go to school. The American dream has never changed: if you work hard enough, you can accomplish anything.
The reality is that Omar doesn’t like being American. She doesn’t want to accept the fact that you can accomplish anything if you have to work for it. She would rather have everything hand-delivered on a golden platter.
The problem is that with her socialist-colored glasses on, she wants to be the one to serve up the platter and determine what will be on that platter.
Welcome to America, Omar. If you’re going to start a civil war, democracy will win. Democracy always wins.
