The Woke War On History: How Ibram X. Kendi And Others Distort Facts To Fit Narratives

On this episode of the Federalist Radio Hour, Jarret Stepman joins Political Editor John Daniel Davidson to explain exactly where purveyors of Woke History like Ibram X. Kendi go wrong. Stepman is a contributor to The Daily Signal and co-host of The Right Side of History podcast. He is also the author of the new book, “The War on History: The Conspiracy to Rewrite America’s Past.”

Stepman points to how many “anti-racists” accept the framework and philosophies of slave owners like John C. Calhoun, while rejecting the philosophies of Fredrick Douglas and Abraham Lincoln.

“They do embrace a tribal collective identity. It’s stripping out the idea of natural, individual rights. It’s stripping out the idea of equality before the law,” Stepman said.
